Training session for Obayashi Road

KenWave Solutions Inc. was thrilled to host a training workshop for the Obayashi team, led by Elia Rizkalla and Gurvinder Mundi, Ph.D., P.Eng. We had the privilege of welcoming Masashi Hasegawa, Junpei Kaneko, and Kayoko Higashiuwatoko from Obayashi Corporation (North American Regional Headquarters) and and Jun Homma from Obayashi Road.

The workshop focused on KenWave’s innovative Dynamic Response Imaging (DRI™) technology, which Obayashi Road is eager to implement in Japan. It was a fantastic opportunity to collaborate, exchange ideas, and explore how DRI can support proactive pipeline management in Japan.

KenWave is proud to be a wholly owned subsidiary of Kenaidan Contracting Ltd., which itself is majority-owned by Obayashi Corp. This strong connection underscores our shared commitment to advancing infrastructure innovation and excellence worldwide.

Established in 1933 as a subsidiary of Obayashi Corporation, Obayashi Road employs over 1,100 people and generates over $1 billion in annual revenue. We are proud to work with a company of such caliber and history and look forward to seeing the impact of DRI in Japan!

A big thank you to Obayashi Corporation and Obayashi Road for their commitment to advancing pipeline condition assessment with KenWave technology.
